4.Thandai: Thandai is a drink that is made for refreshing. It is a cold drink made up of almonds, rose petals, cardamom, saffron, fennel seeds, milk, and sugar. This is the most popular drink for Holi refreshment.
5.Kanji: Kanji is another drink that is made for refreshing. It is made from black carrots, beets, mustard powder, red chilli powder, black salt, and water. This is also the most popular drink for refreshment on Holi.
6.Gol gappe or Paani Puri: Gol gappe infamous in all over India. It is another round snack of hollow puri made from flour and served along with potatoes, chickpeas and jaljeera. Jaljeera is also refreshing to drink made from mix spices.
7.Dal kachori: Dal Kachori is another snack stuffed with urad dal. It is Rajasthani dish but made all over India. It is a crispy and mouth-watering snack.
8.Papri chaat: Papri Chaat is a traditional popular fast food or street food of India. The base of puri is crunchy and is topped with veggies, curd and two to three types of chutney.
9.Dahi bhalla or vada: Dahi bhalla or vada is delicious chaat. It is made up of vada and curd. These are made by soaking bhallas or vadas in curd and adding different types of chutney and boiled and cubed potatoes on the topping.
10.Puran Poli: Puran Poli is a sweet buttery flatbread which is made up of yellow gram and sugar. In this, roti is prepared with stuffing Puran and is served with ghee.
These are some dishes made especially on this day and are much popular. Other than these, fryings are also popular which are colorful. Women make these dishes at home and distribute them to neighbors, relatives, and friends.
